Harrison demonstration of Ardour and Xrange in Cardiff, Wales, 7th April

Harrison Consoles demonstrated its Linux and Ardour based post-production tools for the film and TV industry at Sounds In Motion in Cardiff on the 7th April. Ben Loftis gave an overview of the Xrange products, and explained why Harrison has switched to Linux, while Pete Clark demonstrated the Trion control surface and IKIS automation system.

There was also a presentation by John Emmas of Creative Post, featuring conversion and merging of Avid, Pro Tools and AMS/Neve AudioFile projects into Ardour sessions. John demonstrated a pre-release version of Ardour's new editing mode, which is designed to help post-production editors working on TV and film dialogue.

What about making a video recording of the 'lecture', like they did on the linux audio conference?

Thanks for the idea! I did take a camcorder, and recorded around an hour of footage. I'll get it edited down and post the result online.
